  • Monitor the successful on boarding of seasonal staff members.  Communicate with incoming staff to ensure necessary paperwork and forms are completed. Assist with various logistical projects in preparation for summer camp events.

Dance Administrator, LINX Dance Studio                      

  • Schedule company and individual rehearsals, maintain personalized calendar for each family, field emails and phone calls, write and proof mass emails, distribute information regarding all classes, rehearsals, special events, and competitions to families

Dance Teacher, LINX Dance Studio                                          

  • Develop and implement curriculum for dance classes age 3-15yrs, monthly written updates for parents, choreograph pieces for yearly recital and competitions, private and group lessons

  • Assisted with front desk coverage, mailings, and clerical work on temporary contracts at multiple companies in the Boston area including Boston Magazine, Cone Communications, Carbonite, and Arrowstreet Capital.

  • Assisted the instructor in demonstrating proper technique and classroom etiquette as well as aiding in the choreographic process for the annual recital.

Dance Theatre Group Executive Board

  • Vice President 2015-2016; Secretary 2013-2014; Standing Member 2012  

  • Dickinson College’s primary dance troupe, meets twice weekly for movement technique classes, performs biannually, hosts campus arts showings, promotes a spirit of creativity and exploration through movement.

  • Managed organization of 30-40 members, acted as liaison between Theatre and Dance Department and the Executive Board to produce biannual shows, budgeted for and booked guest artists, organized campus wide events to promote performance and visual arts.

 

Dickinson College Dance Department Pre-orientation Program Coordinator              

  • Program Coordinator for flagship program; orchestrated the logistics of a two day pre-orientation program for incoming first years, booked guests artists, arranged transportation, accommodation, and activities, managed budget for program; liaised with Dickinson College Student Life Coordinator, directed student program leaders and mobilized implementation of the program.

 

American College Dance Festival                                                                                                                        

  • Four day conference held each spring for students at colleges and universities in the eastern region, attended dance technique and improvisational classes, performed and showed personal choreography as a representative of Dickinson College.
